Alpaca Walking Experience – General Terms
General
All persons visiting Alpaca Alpaca are admitted subject and agreeing to the Terms and Conditions.
Guests under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult and will not be allowed to attend the premises without purchasing an alpaca experience with guest, for safety reasons. Proof of age may be requested, and entry may be refused. Alpaca Alpaca has an age restriction, for Health & Safety purposes. We cannot accept any children on the farm under 6 years of age, this includes babies. Children must have reached the minimum age of 6 years old on the day they participate. Please note: Children between 6 and 12 years old must share one alpaca with an adult. You would need to purchase an Alpaca Experience with Guest (ticket).
The walk experience option requires a moderate level of physical capability for you to be able to participate fully. We must be made aware of any medical condition or physical impairment which may affect your ability to participate. This includes visual or hearing impairments and pregnancy. If you are unsure of your ability to participate fully, please discuss this with us, at the time of booking.
Management accepts no responsibility for vehicles or their contents, which are left entirely at owner’s risk.
No dogs are allowed anywhere on the premises, and dogs should not be left in vehicles in the car park unattended.
Any behaviour such as drunkenness, violent or abusive conduct, which may constitute an annoyance to other guests or staff is prohibited.
Anyone displaying lewd, offensive or threatening behaviour (either to guests or staff) will be removed from site without a refund.
Tickets
All guests entering must have a valid entrance ticket/ confirmation. On arrival, please bring with you your booking confirmation that includes the booking reference number and barcode (printed or on a mobile device).
Spectator Options – There is an introduction to llamas and alpacas before you leave for your experience. If you do have someone accompanying you, yet they do not wish to walk or perhaps are not able to, then they are welcome to join you for the introduction and meet the alpacas and llamas and then they can re-join you after your walk, however there is a charge for this of £15. If they do not wish to join you, they must remain in the vehicle or drop you off, returning at the time your session is due to end.
The management are not obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
Fire, Health and Safety
The climbing of fences, walls or any other buildings is forbidden.
Ignoring safety warnings given either verbally or by signage may result in being asked to leave the site without a refund.
The possession or use of illicit drugs is strictly forbidden.
The possession of any weapon or other item to cause damage or injury to persons or property is strictly prohibited and may result in criminal action being taken.
Any person failing to comply with instructions from a member of Management may be ejected from the premises with no refund.
The guest shall pay for the cost of repairing any damage caused to the property, contents or grounds of Alpaca Alpaca and the company and its guests
Alpaca Alpaca reserves the right to evacuate the premises in the event of a Fire Alarm, or other emergency irrespective of whether it is a genuine emergency or not, in order to protect all guests, management and staff and in this event, does not accept any liability for any delay and is not liable to refund.
Smoking Policy
Smoking (including the use of e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited within all areas with the exception of designated smoking areas.
Management and Staff reserve the right to refuse admission or to evict guests from these areas should they violate the smoking policy.
Liability
Alpaca Alpaca shall in no circumstances be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense or any consequential or indirect loss or damage of any kind.
Alpaca Alpaca does not accept responsibility for parental supervision or guardianship for any individuals under the age of 14 years.
Force Majeure
In this clause, “Force Majeure” means any circumstances beyond the control of The Company including, but not limited to, acts of God, adverse weather conditions to war, civil disturbance, order of a Government Ministry or department or public authority, fire, flood, natural catastrophe, royal demise, labour dispute, lock-out, withdrawal of labour or breakdown or interruption of services or transport (public or otherwise) or death or illness of a key person, lack of power and delays by suppliers or materials shortages.
If the Company is prevented from or hindered from operating or partially operating by a Force Majeure the Company may, at its sole option, and without being liable for any loss or damage suffered by the Guest or guests/delegates of or any thirds party employed by the Guest suspend operations for the period of the event plus such time as may be required to resume normality. Such an event shall not entitle visitors to take any steps against the company for breach or to terminate the agreement or otherwise.
Promotional Codes and Voucher Codes
Alpaca Alpaca reserves the right to cancel or amend promotional/voucher codes and their terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Photography
From time to time Alpaca Alpaca or other authorised parties carry out photography and/or video recording within the premises, which may feature visitors. Entry to Alpaca Alpaca is deemed acceptance of these regulations and you therefore agree that Alpaca Alpaca or any authorised party may use such images in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever. You further agree that copyright in these materials rests with Alpaca Alpaca or such authorised party (as the case may be).
Alpaca Walking Experiences Cancellation & Refund Policy
When you book an experience with us, you are agreeing to our Terms and conditions.
When booking on behalf of a group, the individual making the booking will have the overall responsibility for everybody within their group agreeing to these Terms & Conditions and you are securing your places on the time and date you have booked.
Cancellations and Refunds
More than 7 days’ notice:
If you wish to cancel a phone or website booking, we will require 7 days’ notice from your experience date with an email confirmation. We will refund your total transaction minus 10% which will cover processing fees, or you can re-schedule your experience for another date.
Less than 7 days’ notice:
If you cancel within a 7-day period from your experience date and with 48 hours’ notice with an email confirmation, we will offer you a re-scheduled experience date (subject to availability). The re-scheduled date will be within a period of three months from your original experience date. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, Alpaca Alpaca is unfortunately under no obligation to offer a further re-scheduled date.
If you are unable to attend your re-scheduled experience date, Alpaca Alpaca is unfortunately under no obligation to offer a further re-scheduled date.
Our cancellation and refund policy is accepted by the customer under our Terms and Conditions which the customer accepts by ticking the box when placing a booking.
‘No Show’ Policy
If you do not attend your experience without making contact, and your experience is paid in full, either by payment or gift certificate, there will be no refund, and all gift certificates will be deemed spent.
Alpaca Alpaca is under no obligation to re-schedule a further experience date if you do not attend your booking
If Alpaca Alpaca cancel your booking, i.e. if we deem the weather to be un-suitable or conditions too dangerous, we will offer you an alternative date or a credit note with a 3 month expiry date.
