An alpaca walking experience at Alpaca Alpaca is a great way to spend time on a real working alpaca farm in a beautiful setting in North Yorkshire.
Age minimum: 6+ years old
Please note: Children between 6 and 12 years old must share one alpaca with an adult. You would need to purchase an Alpaca Experience with Guest (45.00 ticket for each adult and child). You can both lead your alpaca along the riverbanks and share the experience, taking plenty of photographs on route.

Alpacas are wonderful, quirky animals and are very endearing. They have a therapeutic and placid nature so spending time with them never fails to make you smile. Our alpaca walking experiences on our farm are a great way to spend a few hours in the fresh outdoors.

Description:
Meet the alpacas or llamas on arrival, where we will tell you a little bit about their quirky and inquisitive nature before head out on a leisurely fun and informative 45–60-minute gentle walk along the River Leven in our private grounds leading your very own alpaca or llama.
You will get to know your alpaca or llama’s personality, and how they love their walks as they get to eat new grass, you will meet our resident sheep and pause for lots of selfies along the way.
Once back at base, you get the opportunity to meet Jerry the pet pig, and hand feed the female alpacas carrots, which is another fantastic opportunity for those memorable photos.
Take time to relax with our alpaca quiz and check out our ‘small but well stocked’ gift shop The Alpaca Shack for all things alpaca before you leave with a smile, lots of pictures and a story to tell.
