More info.
On arrival you will be given a health and safety briefing by your guide, please ensure you and all members of your group listen to the advice given. We will introduce you to the llamas and alpacas and give a brief overview of your visit.
Our standard Alpaca Experience, our staff will try to match you to the right llama or alpaca that best suits you for the walk, all our alpacas and llamas have their own personalities and likes and dislikes. We then set off on our 45-to-60-minute trek around the boundaries of the farm. This route covers different terrain whilst admiring the fantastic scenery and amazing views in the valley along the river Leven and there’s plenty of time to take selfies and capture those special memories along the way. You will meet some of our other llamas and alpacas who are enjoying the day in the field, as well as our resident sheep before heading back to the farm to feed the females carrots, meet Jerry the pig and take part in our fun quiz.
Some terrain can be uneven in places along the way, therefore, please wear sturdy shoes/wellies and dress for the weather.
This experience lasts approx. 1.5 hours.
We have a small but well stocked shop – ‘The Alpaca Shack’ selling alpaca goods made from our own herd, including alpaca socks and cuddly alpaca teddies.
